Will's London: St. Paul's Cathedral

Beholde, groundlyngs! Your Will hath etchéd for thee another image of mine Londoun. Here thou canst observe St. Paul's Cathedral as it did stande before lightning struck the spire in 1561. Kit Marlowe does love this parte of Londoun best, though this be not so muche for the churchynge as for the booksellers in the church's shadow.

Good eve, groundlyngs! I didst but muse thou might enjoye observinge some items from mine daily life. Here thou may'st observe nit combs, which the men and women of mine age use to pull the pestes from our hair and beardes. These combs were upon Henry VIII's Mary Rose, a ship in the fleete of the Tudor navy, which did sinke in 1545.

My deare groundlyngs, mine players doth prepare for a Shrovetide performance of mine own "As You like It" for her majestie, and I didst think it wise to address her with some poesie as she is moste fonde of suche arts.  What thinkest thou?  Is't too clumsie for the moment? I do but praye we men all do not drinke as much as we hath on our Night of Errours.
